A native of Greer, South Carolina, Lynne is a graduate of Furman and Southern Seminary, holding degrees in music (piano), church music (piano, theology, and children’s music), and education.  In Kentucky, Lynne taught at the university, high school, and elementary school levels and served on the local school board and as Moderator of the Kentucky Baptist Fellowship.  Before moving back to the Upstate, Lynne served as the Minister of Worship and Music at First Baptist Church in Corbin, Kentucky, for more than a decade and also provided pastor supply at Corbin Presbyterian Church.  Lynne enjoys Clemson football, Kentucky basketball (tenuous), historical fiction novels, singing in the Greenville Chorale, and her two cats, Jackson Virgil and CoCo.  Lynne’s two adult children and four young grandchildren live in Louisville, Kentucky, and Morristown, Tennessee.
